HEARTS COMMUNION by Marianne Evans
Jeremy "JB" Edwards is part of a loving and very close-knit family. That's what his hearts desire is for himself, to have a loving wife and kids of his own someday. A family to pass down the wonderful loving heritage he's been given. Monica Kittelski pours her heart, soul and energy into the children who attend her daycare center, Sunny Horizons. She does this because she knows her infertility will never allow her to have a family of her own. When Jeremy and Monica meet it's instant attraction. They seem to be perfect together. After all they both want a loving family of their own. But what happens when Jeremy finds out that Monica can't fulfill his dream nor hers? When that reality comes to the surface, will turn away from each other or embrace the possibility that God's got a specific plan just for them?
You can always count on an emotionally engaging story when you pick up a Marianne Evans book. Her characters draw you in and you feel so a part of the story that your life, while you're reading, becomes a part of theirs. One thing that I really liked and appreciated was that she kept the characters from the first books involved in this story as well. I love that! I think the emotions of infertility were done in a realistic way. You truly felt the longing of Monica's heart! Jeremy was not only a great guy but a great example of living out your faith. As I was reading a couple things came to mind. One is that God's ways are not our ways. If you trust in Him he'll give you the desires of your heart but it may not be in the way you think. Two, I'm reminded that God works all things together for good! Hearts Communion is a beautiful story that you won't want to miss. It's the 3rd book in the Woodlands series. Although you can read this as a stand alone, I highly recommend reading the books in order..Hearts Crossing, Hearts Surrender then Hearts Communion. Great job Marianne! A thank you goes to the author for providing a complimentary copy for my review.
